Welcome to the official Korean Graduate Student Association (“KGSA”) at the University of Chicago homepage. The KGSA is a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) of the University of Chicago.
Since its inception, the KGSA has been the primary support network for Korean graduate students studying at the University of Chicago. The KGSA fulfills its role in three ways. First, the KGSA aids newly admitted students acclimate themselves to life in Hyde Park and in the City of Chicago. Second, the KGSA provides a forum for Koreans at the University of Chicago to meet, network, and establish friendships that continue after life in Hyde Park comes to an end. Third, the KGSA coordinates several events for Korean corporations and firms that recruit the talented members of the University of Chicago KGSA.
Membership in the KGSA is optional—although newly admitted Korean students are encouraged to join. Every year, a new President of the KGSA is selected and the President appoints his or her staff. The President and staff manage the KGSA’s finances which are maintained by the generous contribution of several Korean corporations and firms within the Chicagoland area.
For potential employers interested in recruiting at the University of Chicago, please feel free to email any of our staff members (email@example.com). KGSA distributes the latest information on upcoming recruiting efforts in Hyde Park and in the Chicago area through the mailing list. The KGSA is committed to helping your efforts to recruit the talented members of the KGSA community.
